Created this little scene today for the 2009 Gallery Idol challenge. It also worked for my personal challenge because the only card stock that wasn't a scrap was the white paper used for the card and the light brown paper for the hills.
The clouds, tree, sun, and hot air balloon are from a new clear set by Verve. Isn't it wonderful? there are 3 more balloons in the set and I really like them all.
The patterned papers are from Making Memories and Bo Bunny.
I did use white fun flock over my clouds and it turned out a little more transparent than I wanted, but it does give it a little depth.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry and the rest is from a clear set by Hero Arts. In order for the words to follow the curve of the hills I cut the words apart, laid the stamps on the card where I wanted them and then picked them up with an acrylic block, inked and stamped. That works so well and is a great feature of the clear stamps.
