We only got to see her for about 1 minute last night. When they were doing the final choreography and with the group at the very end saying "We're going to Vegas". but that is the most important part. She has made it to Vegas. So will she make the show???????????? We don't know and neither does she, it's wait and see time now. WOW!

Totally excited!!!!!

Our granddaughter, Ariana, auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance in Atlanta. They are showing those auditions on Fox tonight. We don't know whether she will be shown or not, but we are so excited to watch and see what happens. I have tremendous butterflies, I can't imagine how she is feeling. She is 18 and we think she is beautiful and talented and most importantly, she is so sweet and beautiful inside also. So watch with us and keep your fingers crossed.................................

Thank You Photo Card

I received these flowers from a friend after my surgery. Not sure if this photo captures how beautiful the colors really were, the roses were just amazing! Wanted to share with her how beautiful they were so I decided to use a picture on her "thank you" card. This was so easy to make and would really work for people who don't have lots of stamps. I can't imagine not having lots of stamps but I am sure there must be someone who doesn't......LOL!
The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the brown and green card stock are from Memory Box. Ordered some of their card stock collections from Ellen Hutson this week and they have some great colors.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

A Better Day!

Feeling and little less sore, have a little more strength so I decided it was time to get dressed and walk around outside a little bit. This pretty mama and her babies were out in the field. I could just sit and watch them all day. The younger deer were running around and having a good time, mama was just concentrating on feeding.
Still haven't felt like doing any crafting.........but hopefully soon. Been sitting around watching sports today with Larry who has taken very good care of me while I am recovering. Hope you are having a great weekend and having lots of fun!

Wonderful Answer

The first word I heard when I woke up from surgery yesterday was "benign". what a wonderful way to wake up. Still sore but can handle all of that. What a relief! Had so much support from friends and family. My cousin, Wana, and my friends Cheryl and Carol came and sat with Larry during the procedure. Just like we hoped I got to come home last night. So glad that is over with. Hopefully next week will feel like getting back in my room and creating something.

Questions and Answers

Have you ever wondered what it felt like when someone got the news that they might have a serious illness? I have. I got the word yesterday and I am trying to figure out how I feel now. Have been having some health issues since the first of the year......thinking that they were part of the getting older process. I usually don't go to the doctor but this year it seems like it has been pretty constant. So this last 2-3 weeks it has been labs, ultrasounds, 2 MRIs, and the word is that I am having surgery on Tuesday. That's when I will have more definite answers. Looking forward to knowing one way or the other, but a little afraid to find out. Lots of thoughts running through my will the answers affect me, my family, my friends, my way to know until Tuesday.
If you know me you know that I am not a very patient person, so waiting is really not my thing. sounds like I better work on getting some patience doesn't it?
