I promised myself last year that I would have things done early so I could relax and enjoy the season.
Where has time gone? Tomorrow is the first day of December......
I haven't designed my Christmas cards yet and I usually send out around 60.
Haven't designed the cards for the babies in the NICU, another 40.
Haven't shopped at all.
So this weekend and this morning I have started making these notebooks for special people on my list.
I got this great idea from Michelle Wooderson's blog. They are lots of fun to make and I hope the people that receive them will like them.
You can buy the notepads for the inside from the Papertrey Ink site or you can buy your own notepads and have them cut to the size you need.
If you want to see more of her ideas check out her blog here
Use the tag "notebooks" and that will take you to the specific posts.
Better run have lots more to make, cards to design, fa, la, la, la, la

Hope everyone is looking forward to a great day tomorrow. One shared with family and friends and lots of great food. I will be spending my day with my friends at work, taking care of the little ones who are having their very first Thanksgiving! This is a sample of the cards that I have made for each of the babies in the NICU. Used a picture of my niece since I couldn't post a picture of any of the babies that are currently in the unit.
All the staff is bringing in food so we will be having a feast, looking forward to it.
We had our Thanksgiving at home last Saturday. We fried 2 turkeys and had lots of food. I think there were about 15 of us all together. So I will get to have Thanksgiving twice this year.
Again, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, be safe and enjoy time with family and friends!

Deborah Nolan is hosting her second card chain challenge on her blog and I was excited to participate. You can check out her blog at http://dominodebi.typepad.com. We had around 25 participants from all over the world play this month.
I received the adorable card, shown above from Brenda Matley of California. Isn't it great! Thanks Brenda!
We had 3 options for our card, we could use all three or any one of the three. We could choose from 1. a combination of colors, 2. a template, or 3 the theme of Thanksgiving/Gratitude.
As you can see Brenda chose the theme, and I just love those pilgrims!
The card that I made was sent to Agnieszka from the UK and she will be posting that card.
After November 10th you can check out Deborah's blog and see all the cards that were made, who made them and where they are located. This has been a lot of fun and I hope we will continue to do this. Maybe you can join us.
