Tone on Tone Birthday Wishes

It's Spring! Everything is starting to bud out. A little to the south of us the redbud trees are gorgeous. It's the time of year for pastels and also the bright cheerful color of Easter eggs. Choices, choices, but I decide to go with a more pastel tone on tone color combo.

This card is a combination of the Sweet Blush card stock by PTI, Copic color R12, and Salmon adirondak light dye ink. Added a litle white to make the colors pop and was happy with the results. I didn't have a ribbon to match but if you have copic markers you can always have ribbon to match. Took some white ribbon and colored it with the R12 copic marker.

Stamp the flower trio from Hero Arts using white embossing powder and emboss using detail embossing powder. This stamp has too much detail for the regular embossing powder. Add color with the copic marker.
Then I tore a paper edge and placed it over the edges as a mask and applied the white ink and embossing powder and embossed. Did this around all 4 sides. Placed the ribbon at the bottom and added a bow. The sentiment is from PTI mixed messages and was stamped with the Salmon ink.

Placed on A2 size card and added color to the edge of the card with the copic marker.

Have a great day!
