Alcohol Inks--The Sequel

Still playing around with alcohol inks but today used them on white glossy card stock instead of acetate.

The color combination today is watermelon and citrus.
This was so easy.  After achieving the look I wanted with the inks I simply stamped and embossed the Poppy stamp using white pigment ink and white detail powder.
Layered it onto apricot colored card stock. Added a little color around the edges with a copic marker.
Added the ribbon to the corner.
Layered onto a square textured white card....a few gemstones for embellishment....all done.
How simple was that!
I love this kind of stamp with alcohol ink backgrounds. Sometimes you aren't particularly crazy about the background you make. But then you stamp over it, trim it up, and it looks so much better than you thought it would. I call that a "Happy Surprise!"

Hope a happy surprise comes your way today.
Thanks for visiting!
