Exotic Blooms

Shari Carroll is hosting the Hero Blog this week and she is using sketches that can be seen Here. This card is made from one of her sketches. The two new stamps used on this card are the Large Canvas Stripes and the Exotic Bloom. That canvas stripe stamp is going to be so versatile. My first thought when I saw it was beach umbrellas and outdoor furniture, hammocks, doesn't it just look like summer?
The canvas stripe was stamped on Letterpress card stock using certainly celery ink by SU.
I colored the exotic bloom stamp using brush markers then stamped and added more color after stamping by adding touches of color with copic markers. It was cut using a spellbinders deckled rectangle die.
The sentiment is in a clear stamp set from Hero. It was all on one line and that didn't work for the size of the die so I cut the hello off the end and added it to the bottom.
The butterfly was stamped with ballet blue ink from SU and colored with copic markers. It was mounted on a circle die and color was added to the edge with copics.

Hope your Wednesday holds time for some creative fun!
Thanks for visiting!
