Friendship Flowers

Hope everyone has started their weekend with beautiful weather and plans for something fun.

We are going to see Ariana, our granddaughter in a  performance tonight so that is what we are looking forward to.
Took a little time this morning to do something creative and came up with this card. The stamp sets are from the June release by PTI, and I did use the large canvas stripe stamp from Hero Arts. If you have dropped by at all lately, you have seen that stamp on a lot of my cards.
Their is also a jar and lid die that goes with those sets from PTI and that is how I started this card. I stamped and embossed the jar image on acetate, then die cut the shape. That was mounted on a piece of blue card stock that was also die cut.
Then I stamped, embossed, colored and cut out the flower image. The stems were placed over the blue jar die and the stamped acetate jar were layered over them. I used a xyron to adhere the acetate.
Stamped the label and sentiment, cut out and layered onto a piece of pink ribbon that was wrapped around the jar.
I wanted to make it look like it was sitting on a table...In the Friendship jar set there are stamps that you can use to make decorations to go around the top of the jar. I straightened one of these and put it on an acrylic block and stamped across pink card stock, embossed in white. Added a little extra color in the polka dots with a marker. Hoped this would look like a border on a table cloth.
Stamped the canvas stripe on top of the white border and cut to fit the bottom of the card.
A dot of foam tape was placed in the center of the flowers and the edges were adhered flat on the card.

If you have shared a little of your weekend with me by stopping by to visit, I really appreciate it!
