Thoughts of Mom

More resist technique today. This technique has the potential to be used in so many different ways and I'm having fun playing around with it.

Stamped the butterfly image with versamark clear ink on glossy card stock and heat set.
Used two shades of distress ink to color the card, tumbled glass and broken china. Wiped excess ink off the butterfly images.
Inked the star flower stamp with versarmark and then one of the distress inks and stamped and embossed with clear detail powder.
I have been thinking about my mom a lot lately. Today is her 6th anniversary in Heaven! When I picked up this clear set and saw this sentiment it just seemed to fit this card.
Added a small bow, a few pearls and did some corner rounding to finish the card.

Anniversaries are always hard, but they do get easier as time goes by. I know she wouldn't want us to be moping around today so I am going to honor her by doing something fun. We are going to Raleigh to see our granddaughter, Ariana, who is home from NYC.

Hope you have many happy memories of your loved ones!
Thanks for your visit!
