Alcohol Inks--The Final Chapter

I didn't have plans to do alcohol inks for the whole week, but they are a little addictive once you  get started. You can get so many looks, it is always interesting to see how they turn out.
Created the AI background and embossed dandelion frame over it.
Stamped and embossed the butterfly on vellum and cut out. Added some color with copic markers.
The sentiment is embossed on glossy card stock.
Punched the decorative border in vellum and white card stock. Layered and added to bottom of dandelion frame.

It was such a beautiful day here today. Spent sometime in the yard taking pictures of a dragonfly, that I swear was posing!
He kept flying around and was letting me get closer and closer.

Hope you have something great planned for the weekend. I will be working the first part and then spending the 4th with some friends at a picnic. Hope this beautiful weather holds out for everyone.

Happy 4th of July to all of you in the United States!
Thanks for visiting today!

  3. Oh my gosh, am I the only one seeing this or do you see it too...but if you look right in the middle and near the top of your card, it looks like you're looking into a crystal like cave - like glancing at a marble rock - kind of a 3-D look, pretty neat effect! These colors are very pretty!
