Unphotogenic Card or bad photographer??

I thought only people could be un-photogenic, but I found out tonight that cards can be too. LOL!
This card is really pretty in person, or at least I thought it was. But then I started trying to get a photo of it to post. Can't wait for the morning for daylight because tomorrow is a 12-14 hour work day, so this is the best photo I could come up with. You decide card or photographer??
All stamps by Hero Arts. The flowers and dragonfly were stamped and embossed on vellum. The flowers were stamped again on white and pink card stock and layered. I think that was part of the problem with the photo, the two stamped layers makes it look a little out of focus.
The oval was cut using a spellbinders nestability. I cut the oval out of the white card stock too, so that the colored oval would be inset instead of on top of the white.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your visit.

  1. Sometimes it is just hard to get a good photo of a card, no matter how good it looks in person. Having not seen this one in person I don't see the problem, I think it's gorgeous. I don't know what it is about certain colors, etc., but I have had that happen more than once. I do have a new camera, and hope that will improve the quality of my photos, but we'll see!

  3. Oh Debbie! I think this is beautiful and very colorful! You're such an inspiration, you know I made a card last night, didn't like it, then this morning took a photo of it and didn't like it, so I never posted it! I just might have to post it now!
