Watercolor Thank You

This card features 2 Penny Black stamps, the flower is a cling stamp called Fanciful and the sentiment is Flourish Thank You. The flower was colored directly using markers, lightly misted and then stamped on watercolor paper.  The sentiment was stamped and cut out with a Spellbinders nestability.

We have a busy, fun week ahead of us. My dad turns 85 on Wednesday, but we are holding the celebration till Saturday, since my son is coming home from Florida to spend some time with us. Thursday the tour of "Bring it On" is coming to North Carolina and we are going to see our very talented granddaughter, Ariana perform. They have been touring the country since December and we are looking forward to seeing the show.

I am so thankful to everyone for the expressions of sympathy that were shown to us last week. They were so much appreciated. It definitely helps to get through those tough times.

Thank you so much for stopping by :)
Debbie

  1. what a lovely, lovely card Debbie. I think the blossums look especially delicate. I am so sorry to hear of your father in law passing. So hard to lose the ones who we love. Thinking of you.

  7. Beautiful card, Debbie! Love how you used that flower stamp & the scallops. Didn't realize you were a nurse, too. There are quite a few of us with this passion, it seems. Enjoy a week of happy times!
