Wishing you Well

Good Morning. To everyone here in the United States, Happy 4th of July!! We are going to a picnic today at a friend's house. It's going to be hot but there is always a delightful breeze at their house, so maybe the heat won't be too bad.

My card today features a cling stamp from Penny Black called "Posies", a die from Memory Box called "Tessatina Border", and a Spellbinders nestabiltiy called "Large Labels".

The white card base is A2 size. The large labels die was used to make the window.  Then I embossed it with a small dots embossing folder. 4 Tessatina borders were punched and placed behind the window. Then the design was stamped. I used a piece of plastic ( the kind that comes in clear stamp sets) to put behind the borders to make it sturdy but keep the open look.
I stamped the design again, cut out the flowers, added a little more color with colored pencils and mounted over the original design. The butterflies are stamped with a Martha Stewart punch.

Hope you are having a great day! Thanks for spending a little of it with me.

  1. This is gorgeous, Debbie! Love the all-white design with just the few pops of color - beautifully done!

  2. Gorgeous! What a great idea about placing the die cut in the window, it looks like lattice for the flowers to climb on.

  3. Beautiful texture with a fabulous window aperature!

  4. WOW, this is fantastic, love the window. So fragile and lovely.
